Echo that. Was superb
That sounds good. Thanks for sharing the inside information.
We’re going to give it a whirl tonight. Never got round to seeing the last BBC series of Luther so watching the film might inspire me to go back to it as we used to love Luther (and Alice) back in...
We enjoyed Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic last night. As you’d expect from BL it’s a visual feast and a compelling story.
Was never an Elvis fan but goodness me 42 is no age to die and in those very...
Ditto.
Perfect end to a pretty horrible week but this film was so uplifting. Recommended
mmm, solid 5/10 here from me for that..
100% agreed
Nice little film.....but one to maybe watch at home than at the cinema for me...........unlike "The Lion King" that has to be seen on the biggest/best screen possible.....magnificent.
Looks good and loved the first one (By the way....Emily please stop calling me, I'm spoken for!)....but looks like one of those brilliant trailers that you've seen the whole film/best hook lines in 1...
Totally agree. Was pleasantly surprised at just how good this film was.
Got dragged along to see "Bridget Jones's Baby" this week by my other half.......ok, I'm going to be banned for saying this, but it really wasn't bad at all....honestly.....
As you were.
Ben Hur (2016)
Could have been really terrible but isn't...........not going to win 11 Oscars but it's worth a watch for the chariot scene alone. (but perhaps wait for it on SKY/DVD/BR)
Saw the David Brent movie last week and, as ever, it was a film you couldn't help but watch through your fingers as you watch him dig himself into awful situations everywhere he goes. Very funny and...
Highly recommended. Enjoy.
Each to their own. Maybe don't have 8 pints before next time......
The Revenant was a superb experience. An easy 10/10 for me and highly recommended.
Going to see "The Wolf of Wall Street" again tomorrow night as the GF hasn't seen it yet.....hope she likes it as much as I did!
Finally got around to seeing "12 Years A Slave" last night.
We both really enjoyed it but it's hard going given what is depicted in the film. It's a beautifully shot, edited and acted film with so...
"Wolf Creek"
Just don't bother unless you like "thrillers" (AKA shite horror) and want to have nightmares for a few days.
looking forward to seeing that at the weekend.
Gravity 3D..............W-O-W
totally agree....both leads give a superb performance.
Glad you both enjoyed it too.
Going to suggest "Senna" next as part of her "education"!!
Rush totally exceeded ALL my expectations and for a film I was really looking forward to that is something in my book. My GF liked it too which was a nice bonus.....
Highly recommended and a "must...
