We watched it yesterday, loved it! Epic.
Brilliant film, I hope they make a sequel, the ending set one up.
Extraction 2 last night on Netflix- really enjoyed it, non stop action.
Really want to see this, the clips look great, what platform did you see it on?
Just finished the Elvis film on Netflix, really enjoyed it, was really done well.
We watched this on Friday evening, a bit dated now but was still pretty good.
Watched 'House of Gucci' the other night, cant remember what platform it was on, really surprised to enjoy it as much as I did, Im not sure what I was expecting, but it was very good watching. (...
‘The Guard’, a great Irish film has just come up on Netflix, think Father Ted meets Lock Stock, really funny.
Boiling Point.
I came to post the same thing, a tragic story and very well done, not surprising it’s not a well known story, very sad.
^ Just watched ‘The Hunt’ too, very good, quite funny. I agree, the ‘hero’ was easy on the eye.
Not sure if it’s been mentioned yet, ‘Nobody’ on Sky / NowTV is very good, dark comedyish shoot em up action.
I really did enjoy it, but I agree with you, he didn’t overwhelm his attackers like in the books, and if I had another small gripe, he was a fair built younger than I imagined him to be.
I’ve been binge watching since yesterday, it’s really good! Very true to the book. The book is one of my favourites in the series, which is nice.
Did you watch the couple of extra scenes towards the end of the credits? Not many people have.
I’m glad you enjoyed it, and I agree, it’s uncomfortable viewing, and sadly plausible.
I mentioned it in another thread, but ‘Don’t look up’ on Netflix is outstanding, great cast, and a great observation on what’s wrong with society today.
SOC is probably my favourite album of all time, I just bought it on the 1988 release on vinyl, I had it on cassette at the time and played it till it wore out.
I did too, and completely agree.
Free Guy on Disney + is great fun. I have a bit of a man crush on Ryan Reynolds. Not as much as my crush on Jodie Comer but whatever.
Free Fire on Prime- Absolutely brilliant, IRA gun deal gone wrong, loads of shooting, and very funny in places. Has a Guy Richie vibe.
Came in here to post the same , really enjoyed it.
Revisited ‘Heat’ the other day, I couldn’t believe how young Pacino and DeNiro and Kilmer looked, then realised it was out 25 years ago. Mental. Great film though.
Took the boy and his mate to watch F&F9 last weekend , absolute bilge, but the kids loved it, which says it all really. ( as alluded to by Village above)
