Foundation on Apple TV, just finished Season 1 and looking forward to Season 2. Extra thumbs up for Lou Llobell too.
Finished Netflix's "The Night Agent" last night.
Good spy/conspiracy/White House style thriller. Kept me hooked for the whole 10 episodes. By no means highbrow.
Just got round to watching House of the Dragon, really good, enjoyed it.
True Detective
Has anyone watched this? I've finished Episode 4 and while I like the murder investigation bit etc (set in the past), the interviews with the 2 main cops set in the present are...
We paused when they signed the book so we coudl see the time differences.
Winners were 2 hours before 2nd place, then 3rd place just 20 mins behind that.
Only watched Episode 1 so far, which was good.
6 hours a day! How much time do you have on your hands!
Episode 7 now (Severance) and still no idea what's going on. Hoping it doesn't turn into Lost
Got 6mth free trial with Apple TV at Chrimbo, So trying to find good stuff to binge by Mid June.
just watched ‘Ted Lasso’ S1&S2, really good, can see why it’s so highly rated on IMDB.
Agree with this, wrapped up the story nicely.
Recommendations of something to watch with a 9 year old please. Just finished Lost InSpace which she enjoyed (even though Netflix rates it 12) .
Wasn't sure if Vikings and Last Kingdom were too similar i.e. set in same time period, might get confusing with different interpretations of the same events in history.
Vikings Valhalla on Netflix. Set 100years after Vikings (on Amazon) finished. Tells the story of how King Canute came to power in England amongst other storylines.
Shame it’s not on Amazon. Disney, Sky or Netflix
Midnight Mass, just finishing last episode now. Episodes 4 & 5 were a slog but other wise has been good. 4 & 5 could have been edited into 1 episode with some really long monologues from characters...
Weirdly I just logged on to say the same thing. Only up to Episode 2 of Season 2 though. Season 1 finished in 3 nights.
Another upvote for Time.
The documentary about the Challenger Disaster on Netflix is also compelling.
Just got round to watching Unabomber on Netflix with Paul Bettany.
Really good, binged watched in a couple of nights, only 1 episode was a semi-dud where they did a backstory episode and skipped...
Thought these were excellent too.
Watched the final 2 over the weekend. E6 pciked up after 20 mins or so and final episode was good. Shame about Episode 5 really. Was very very sloooowwww.
We enjoyed Episodes 1 to 4 but episode 5 was a very slow, very dull, felt like it went on forever. Has put my wife off watching the rest for now. Does it pick up again from e6?
Just finished Snowpiercer, preposterous concept but thought it was brilliant especially once all the plot lines started stitching together from about Episode 5, looking forward to Season 2 release in...
Mindhunter on Netflix is very good, I'm halfway through Season 2. Dramatisation of the FBI starting to research profiling of serial killers in the 70's.
Ozark - watched Season 3 as soon as it was...
Far too many good series to watch now, just this page alone would require a full couple of weeks off work to watch.
I decided to go retro with my latest binge watch. Had full West Wing box set in...
