Had mine since Wednesday and so far very pleased with it, only gained around 11 seconds since first adjusting the time.
Bought with the intention of using it for my job working on a heritage...
Why I stopped collecting TF watches, and subsequently sold up the collection I had.
How's the PVD holding up?
Had an 2016 example for a while but found the finish was easily marked down to the bare metal. Not had the same issue with the SBS mind.
See they have not made the SBS Reissue available again, lucky enough to have one of the first ones sold, pricey compared to the standard for the small changes to the spec but still one of my...

Would go with a dementia related illness, seems to be seeing threats which don't exist, which I've seen with friends and family with such conditions.

Good hospital just up the road at the James Cook too.
My 1967 example, had a new crystal at some point and the dial is slightly scratched/marked but does appear otherwise pretty original.

Enlightening thread, particularly as not that long back I bought then returned an old Sewills with the eta 2824 movement off the bay, which on receipt didn't run contrary to the description. Also...
Back focusing on military issue and this former US Military (Glycine) Altus GG-W-113 arrived yesterday. Glycine only received one contract for these in 1986, so they are not particularly common.

Not so sure, ran over something in mid 2017 which damaged the car to where the cost to repair needed an insurance claim, and strangely the insurance renewal has come back £120 less this year then...
From my experience car has gone to a body shop not a salvage company and they have then determined if its a write off and you don't have to take the bodyshop of the insurers choice either, unless...
No Terror :eek-new: with Farer from my experience of owning one of their Lomond field watches, appears well made/finished and with a good accuracy too.
This new release also caught my eye, though...

95 Issue
Have a collection of CWC Quartz G10 and Divers, albeit mostly issued. A small number do this, while others are very precise. Seems to be a trait with the eta 555 and 955 family of movements.

We have a two up two down and £125 is what we've been paying for electricity only for the passed year on a fixed tariff with heating and hot water provided by an air sourced heat pump. Mind our house...
Agree those do look nice.
Notice CWC are now also offering a single pass strap in a similar style, though limited to 20mm.

As previously stated with my last experience of trying to purchase I got the item into the cart as soon as the function appeared on opening at 14:00 but on keying the checkout button a split second...
Interesting thread. Fortunate to have had examples of all the chrono's from 72 apart from the Lemania and Newmark.
The mechanicals, particularly the Hamilton and Precista I feel are far superior...

Going by the date of 'issue' its from the initial batch of SBS Mk1 with L dials supplied in 2015/16, when they again started to re-order these after the Eco-Dive which was supposed to replace it,...

Somewhat more costly than the options discussed so far, but my preferred field watch is a Farer, built like the proverbial tank :smile-new:
They have a more field green option too with a...
