+2, very good post.
I've got a hunch - and I think verv might have said this somewhere - that the issue is likelier the more the watch is worn. My (very early, so out of warranty) SD43 has always been 1-2 seconds per...
His YT profile says that while he 'was one of the UK's leading and most established independent watch dealers', he is now, quote, a 'Crime figher and Campaginer for social justice'.
So his concern...
It's very true that some watches look much better in photos than the flesh, and some vice versa - to a surprising degree. I bought a NOS 16570 [polar] years ago on the basis of seeing so many...
Nothing daft about that at all, admirable.
Saab are indeed defunct but although Volvo are Chinese-owned many/most[?] of their cars are still built in Sweden (at Torslanda).
A beautiful watch, but I can't stop worrying about the blood supply to your hands ... :-)
I've got a lot of affection for Longines. I bought my daughter a Dolce Vita for a big birthday.
Banks Lyon email received just now: 'Act Fast! 30% OFF All Bremont Watches ...'
Ah, Marc is a new name to me. This is good to hear, thanks.
Are any of these reviews recent? Good to hear if so. I bought several watches from AMJ but it was always from a distance and I had to give up several years ago when they stopped replying to emails.
'UK brands are piquing international interest and proving that a high-status timepiece need not be Swiss ...'
...
(How is that, as an aside? You may save me from horological faux-pas.)
Agree, I think most buying guides would come up with a Skoda Octavia Estate for the OP's criteria.
(I personally don't think the Aerospace works too well on a (thick oe Breitling) rubber strap - the head is so light that it always stands a bit proud unless you do it up very tightly. Just a...
Marinara sauce?
Anyway this was very recently on Ch4 and may inspire, or irritate:

Spot-on yes, I was thinking this - i.e. that given the way it's sought to position itself lately, CW must be delighted with Bremont's self-immolation.
100% the same. I abandoned JLC for that reason, and have more or less abandoned Breitling due to BUK issues. Stuart keeps me with Zeniths. ISTR that some on here know him so I hope he's seen this...
In answer to the general question of undersealing etc I've seen these guys bigged up on Pistonheads:

And they are Land Rover specialists too by the looks of it:...
I have long had iPhones but don't use the iCloud (just the phone memory), or Safari (I use the Mozilla app), or iTunes (I use Spotify)! So I don't myself feel any great iPhone / Windows pc tension....
Good post.
Googles Scurfa Diver One ... bloody hell yes no worries there.
I think the foreman may already be knocking on the door with a verdict. It'd take quite a turnaround from the current reaction.
Splendid. The presence of those old 900s on the road has completely evaporated.
I've never heard of this issue on the Aerospace before. Sadly you have to suspect it's BUK price-gouging; if even 1 in 10 punters says "gosh, ok" then it's easy money.
