No problem, and done.
It's sounded like a number he plucked out of the air to be honest - particularly if someone at the same AD was told 3 years only last week!
Boodles in the Royal Exchange quoted me 2 years last Friday or if you already have a PP or purchased a watch from them they can "fast track you" - but couldn't quantify what that means!
Thanks for your reply - I'm sure if it was a current mass produced Submariner people would be excited, just trying to help out those who might be after one of the above as it's unusual to see them...
Hi all,
Just a heads up for anyone searching but I have just seen a number of SS Rolex in the window of WoS in Canary Wharf, from what I could tell, they have:
- Explorer II
- green and white...
Try Octopus, they are like Ovo but worked out cheaper for me. They are one of a raft of new energy suppliers that are largely online but from my experience so far are much better than the usual Big6...
I love the pushers are they satin finish? It looks like it from the pic but not seen one in the flesh before.
This has jogged my memory to seeing a couple of mules with padding to disguise them on the M42 a couple of days ago. From what I could tell they looked a bit like the F-Pace but smaller so maybe a...
You might just get a Maserati 3200, a 3.2 V8 and I think they might have been turbo charged. Probably going to be high mileage and maybe a bit ropey for under £10k though.
Failing that there must...
Wow, stunning watch and what a find! I'm currently saving like mad to have the funds for one.
I went into Boodles in the Royal Exchange on Friday and they told me their waiting list is 2 years...
Fantastic trio. I'm still not sure on the centre links on these Rolex bracelets but love the Daytona dial white dial now they have put black rings back on it - maybe need to try one to convince...
Thanks all for the kind words about my collection, although it sounds like Andrezj is even more addicted - I'd love to see some pics of that collection! The notable missing piece is a flieger, I was...
I can second NCB Autokrakt - Noel serviced my old Z4 and my Dad's old 5 series. I can also recommend Jo Darby Cars in Portway out near Becketts Farm if more convenient for you.
Hi Guys,
I rarely post on here so thought it was time I contributed some more! I am a self confessed Stowa addict and have 7 in my collection at the moment. It started with a Seatime my parents...
My 'daily driver' is a Subaru P1 - although in reality on only drive short journeys a few days a week and this is more of a weekend warrior:

Absolutely love it on the black and red nato - great choice!
He tried my sub on today and didn't seem that bothered. I would deem him quite 'old fashioned' for his age, hence why he doesn't really want a diver/sports watch or chrono.
Hi Guys,
My fiance's brother is turning 21 soon and would like a watch for his brithday. His budget is likely to be £3-4k and his is very interested in a Rolex Date of some sort or an Explorer I;...
Actually that is Crye Multicam pattern and is very good in a number of environments (not snow) some US special force have been using it for a few years and is less of a compromise than you would...

What about a Stowa Seatime?
Absolutely amazing watches, I got mine for my 21st birthday and have now built up a collection of 4 stowas as it and their others have made such a good impression on me. Something to bear in mind...
I'm 22, have been into watches for a couple of year and now up to my forth Stowa.
