Very sharp.
Yes it is. Myself, I have gone off chronos since they became too popular. 20 years ago I would have payed over-market for one of these. Pity about the movement restrictions.
On top of that with higher volumes the manufacturing costs will be lower per unit.
The high bezel with flat sapphire has its own magic. It makes it more modern. This is similar between the MkI and MkII Speedies
I can see a redesigned bezel with a high dome plexi and hand-wound movement in the future... the problem will be availability of movements.
Shortages in production are going to be the bane of our...
That information is classified and your reason does not privilege qualification. ☺☺
(Assuming that the prototypes are the same thickness.)
In the Vertex MP45, the auto is 16mm and the manual 14mm.
Is the one you opened one of the prototypes? Or from the stock delivery? Check the thicknesses. The autos will be thicker.
Did you pay for the h-w version?
I also "noticed" that!
Absolutely. This model is going in the history books.
Impressive. Most people will want both.
PS I know you don't like white dials (and call me a philistine) but the cream dial should have been white. Perhaps in a future reorder.
PPS I...

So, the "one movement" proposed will be the manual...
As clear as mud.
Absolutely no chance. You are playing with the divine canon of the original... and it will look weird. imo
+1
14.3mm is totally acceptable.
Terrific looking watch by the way!!!
I don't think drilled lugs will look good on this model. The originals had solid bars that were filed down flush and presenting sweeping lugs.
I also have a feeling that it is 40mm at the bezel and 42mm at the end of the asymmetric case.
The leaf hands (as above) are not lume-able. The original lumed hands were syringes (as in the Expedition).
It is so exciting we cannot post fast enough.
Would it be possible for the full lume to have the colour of the lume white (as in "Damasko white") that turns into green in the dark? With jet-black hands.
I've had a full lume Damasko and the...
Correction. Sellita does make it as a hand winder... upon request. I don't know how many you have to order for it, though.
