Had Oldboy Sky+d from last Christmas (!) and got round to seeing it last night. Good film, some pretty harrowing stuff in parts. I doubt the Hollywood version currently out in cinemas can do it...

Rare visit to cinema today. Spontaneously took the missus to see Captain Phillips and enjoyed it very much. One of the better films I've seen at the cinema in recent years. 4 stars.

Just saw Django Unchained. The second ever Tarantino film I've enjoyed (the other was Jackie Brown).

Agree on both counts.

But I'm tempted to save some time and money (cinema trips are about thirty quid for two these days at least!) and wait. It'll probably be on Film4 within 6 months.

Was disappointed really. So much more could have been made and told of her life, her time in Power...but it chose to look at her as a bumbling elderly lady with mere flashbacks on her life and career.

I think the third one (Bourne Supremacy) was the best one...unusual that the final one of a trilogy is actually the best (imo of course!).
