David O. Russell’s Amsterdam, a wonderful film a touch of melancholy, a lot of dry wry humour & a tremendous ensemble cast, I really enjoyed it. Streaming on Disney +.

The original is on Amazon prime, just need a wet afternoon now.

Watched this with the wife a couple of weeks back and found it perhaps 10-15 mins to long but interesting, worthwhile watching.

Watched Bohemian Rhapsody on prime on the £1.99 deal, I’m not a Queen fan by any margin but found it to be an excellent film.

Watched God Bless America earlier this week on Netflix, it’s a dark comedy / satire about the self absorbed celebrity culture prevalent in North America, well worth a watch.

Went with the wife yesterday to see a "street cat named bob", surprisingly good, not great but a fine way of whiling away a cold December afternoon.

I was surprised how good the cats were in it....

In a fit of nostalgia brought on by a bout of man flu the last couple of days I've watched some older classics,

The Big Lebowski and Boogie Nights, both of which I'm sure will need no introduction.

I think I got as far as the toaster scene and stopped it, couldn't connect with it.

Watched the big short last night, cracking film that feels very close to reality and one of the actors has a cracking Oysterquartz too.
