Watched Renfield and it was utter nonsense but really enjoyable.
I tried to watch that last week but the new (supposed) Bond actor effing and jeffing all the time was truly boring.
I watched Killing Gunther with Arnold last night and found myself chuckling at...
Sexy Beast on Filmfour right now. One of the best films ever made followed by Quadrophenia.
Watched The Last Movie Star starring Burt Reynolds. Superb all round and quite moving if I'm honest.
Watched Stan and Ollie on Friday. I was never into Laurel and Hardy, always preferring Buster Keaton or Harold Lloyd if I had to watch anything like that but this film was absolutely superb.
Couldn't sleep last night and Apocalypto was on Film4. Absolutely incredible film.
Paddington 2.
Just perfect in every way. Not saying anymore because I don't want to spoil a nanosecond of it.
Just go and watch it and leave having had a great laugh.
If you're forced to watch the My Little Pony movie, don't worry- it's not that bad! Although I was laughing when nobody else was, so maybe misunderstood what it's all about.
You must admit- that was a bloody cool avatar!
The Exorcist and American Werewolf in London are free on Amazon Prime/Netflix at the mo in the run up to Halloween. Watched them both last night- absolute bliss!
Last year I watched The Exorcist...
Just watched the trailer and have to confess it made me laugh. The Youtube comments made me laugh even harder.

I know he gets a lot of stick these days but any film of his I watch I enjoy.
Watched Blended with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore last night and could recommend that. I'm an admirer of Sandler though. I think his films are great.
Took the twins to watch Despicable Me 3 yesterday. Bloody brilliant.
Short film (20 mins) from Neill Blomkamp:

If you haven't seen it already I would urge everyone to watch The King of Comedy. It's a masterpiece.

I would also highly recommend Wag The Dog.
...
I watched The Kings Speech again (cannot recommend that enough!) followed by The Exorcist which is currently free on Netflix. It's the original version without the spider walk and added imagery.
Watched the Kings Speech recently. What a corker of a film!
Funnily enough, I saw The Watch and he was a waif but in War Dogs he's a right bloater. Hi co actor was superb. I'd only seen him in Fantastic Four which was dog mess.
I watched War Dogs which is very much in the style of Scorsese and it was bloody brilliant.
Watched Nymphomaniac: Volume I on Filmfour last night. I was expecting a scientific study on the psychological state and consequences of the uncontrollable urges which a sufferer endures and the...
Watched Paddington last night. Absolutely brilliant.
Watched Pulp Fiction last night. It's twenty one years old and still great.
I've never been a Clint Eastwood fan, I've always thought he was very camp but I watched Gran Torino and Unforgiven the other night and have to say both were excellent.
Watched Captain Phillips with Tom Hanks & directed by Paul Greengrass- very tense.
Watched Brighton Rock the other day with Richard Attenborough and found that was tense, too.
