I tried Spoke quite a few times several years ago but found the quality and fit inconsistent and ended up giving them to charity.

I have my jeans repaired at Son of Stag, have two there at the moment.
He has a better selection than any of the shops I have been to in Tokyo or Osaka!
I do plan to visit Okayama in the spring...
Exactly, I had some 19oz ones which now are beautifully soft but worn out and repaired in many places, from ten years ago. Recently got some 23oz ones in Japan and am still breaking them in!

I bought two pairs of the cream ones as I was unsure on sizing, but the 33 inch ones are a bit big in the waist for me so I'm unlikely to wear them. Nice red stripe in the selvedge.

I got some similar Samurai jeans in a little shop in Osaka, so they had made them specially according to the owner's specification as a limited edition. Loads of details I didn't really appreciate at...
I have a pair of brown RRL jeans in Japanese denim which are great, great fades! Agree they seem to have got a lot more expensive, used to be able to find them on sale for about 40 quid.

It's great, they are repairing some of my Momotaro jeans there at the moment.
500! I have some very worn in Samurais that have been repaired several times now, they stood up by themselves originally but now are so comfortable.

Yes, I k ow just what you mean, I had a belt custom made for me with the right hole perfectly centred just before I lost a load of weight and now am wearing it comfortably on a hole tighter.
