Just re-read Juliet, Naked by Nick Hornby. Really liked it. As a music fan it's really interesting. Especially the mindset of people when they gather on forums etc.

I've read probably everything Pelecanos has written. Can't understand why he isn't better known. His style may not be to everyone's tastes is all I can think.

I read all of that as it's got so many good reviews, and sort of liked it. But I am in no rush to read Volume 2. I think it helped that I was on holiday and got through it quite quickly.

Most of the way through Holy Machine, by Chris Beckett. Modern Sci Fi that features a state set up to be free of all religion and investigates the impact of this and advanced in technology. Very good.

I read Under The Dome on holiday too, and it was perfect for that as it was so long and very 'cinematic' that I could devote hours and hours to it.
