Met him 10 years ago to view some Planet Oceans, very helpful, very patient and knowledgeable. I didn't buy but only because I was undecided. Circumstances changed, I waited and prices rose. Missed...
Hopefully they'll send a new BN0118, I received a damaged watch from them. Judging by the reviews this is fairly common.
Thanks, I'll try Citizen then. Didn't know if they were trusted but if you've happily had your diver serviced there I'll use them. Cheers
I need a new battery, reseal and pressure test for my Citizen Aqualand JP2000, the classic design with the depth sensor on the left of the case. It's a 200m watch that I do use diving so I would like...
Great looking watch. Glad it's back up and running. Always wanted once, hope they do a reissue of sorts like they have with the soon to come 1300m reissue.
May I ask who did the work, I have an...
I've got the JDM red dial version of that currently listed on ebay as an ecodrive Promaster. No complaints so far, hope that guy messages me. Totally correct description for great watches.
5 out of 5 are divers, still plenty of variety and difference in style between then. No. 6, the new Citizen 1300 style reissue will be added in the summer.
I'm no expert in smart watches, have never owned one and never used one. The closest I have is a GPS Garmin for running, that tells me my pace, speed etc. From what I see the trouble with smart...
I think I'd agree, the 5503 800m would be a great reissue. Maybe if this sells like hot cakes that'll follow... doubt it sadly.
I have a red dial, red bezel prime. Nice watch. Didn't know it was know as the prime. Excalibur would be a nice holiday watch for me, does a job but I don't think I'd ever really desire one.
I like monsters too, skx is dull... Water resistance is down but 200m is still worthy of a dive watch. If reduction in water resistance to original is a yardstick to measure by then all Tunas except...
Citizen at it's best must be the original 1300m, the jp2000 and the ecozilla. Bold, purposeful, ground breaking, iconic and just so different to all the safe designs other brands continually make....
The excalibur is nice but just another black bezel dive watch. What is a prime? The watch is marmite but it's distinctive and a no nonsense dive watch. There are so many watches I think of as hideous...
Did you have an original?
Not sure if serious. My 9yr old tells me its 11,000m... Am sure some of the comments above about depth rating are tongue in cheek but just in case, a 200m watch can survive that depth pressure if...
I tried finding an original 1300m years ago, soon gave up as they rarely appear. This new one is a definite buy for me, 200m is quite enough for me and probably helps keep the price reasonable....
Nice watch but not a tuna in the true sense of the model. Only 200m water resistance for a start, good but not tuna standard. Adding a shroud to a diver does not a tuna make. Personally even the...
No worries, my favourite watch in my collection, hope you enjoy yours.
I was certainly not suggesting your Tuna was low end! I'm a huge fan and have had three over the years. Just a shame a name with some heritage and kudos has been lost from the dial. I know what you...
Wow the price of these have gone crazy. I bought my 033 Tuna brand new about 3 years ago for £550. A sapphire crystal doesn't really justify the price hike. Shame that they no longer have...
The OM was a firm favourite in the Pistonheads watch forum. I had a few and sold them all for around 150ish in mint condition, probably paid 130ish each so I was happy not to loose money at the time....
Welcome back from a fellow Pistonheader. What happened to the orange monster? I sold mine years ago thinking I'll easily get another one day as they're everywhere... Now they're pricey and rare. Made...
That was well worth it then. Great upgrade at that price.
I like the shrouds but they're 100ish aren't they? Makes even a discounted watch 300 plus, and a full price watch 400? I struggled to justify that money just to make the watch feel good quality sadly.
