Have the hands been renewed? My 1980 16750 looks like it has new hands, but if yours hasn’t- then poss mine hasn’t either, and they don’t age at the same rate?

Certainly used to be that 'add-ons' like conservatories, garages etc had to be built at the same time as the principal building - in order to claim back VAT.
