Agree that a thinner, 1000 ft waterproof version would be awesome. And please consider a blue dial with orange bezel!

Thanks! Any my username is actually from a childhood nickname - I wasn't even aware of the food link until recently!
I really love the orange variant, but wish it was waterproof to 300m and 12mm thick - I don't think the rest of me could hit 100 atm underwater!
I'm not sure why this conversation turned into an attack on me but this will be my last message here. Carry on.
I agree - but if it makes the owner self-conscious about the watch in certain settings, that certainly takes away from the enjoyment...
I agree - I've gotten some second looks on my Cocktail Time ;)
I agree, that's a lot of it. I do think that the stark style of the DA36 would be harder to pull off than other microbrands. To each their own though. I do appreciate the Damasko pieces' construction.
It's not about my perceptions - it's about what other people do. I work at a major bank, and seeing a Sub (or a Daytona) is not uncommon. Don't see a whole lot of people wearing Damasko-style pieces.
Oh that's interesting. Are you anticipating a price change to coincide with the movement update? Any idea on timing?
I'm not saying that it's unreasonable for the quality, but it's a lot of scratch for a watch that can't realistically be worn in a business casual or formal setting (I know some people wear G-Shocks...
I've noticed that the watch is currently out of stock, but more are on order - where are all these NOS movements coming from?! Remains a great piece and what I wear most days.
I'm sure Damaskos are as well-built as everyone says but to spend that kind of coin on essentially a very nice beater doesn't make sense to me. To each their own though.
I've tried these on at the AD and they seem fine on my 6.75" wrist. Amazing watch.
I generally only like the original Speedy Pro from all the various editions, and probably would still choose that one for the history, but this is definitely one of the better-looking Speedy options....
Oris Aquis 40mm (or 36mm if you like), maybe Citizen NY2300 at the low end?
Beautiful watch (it's become my daily wearer), and good to see it used for its intended purpose. Mine's been in the pool a couple times but nothing more than that - still in the honeymoon phase!
A Limes Endurance perhaps? Or Stowa Prodiver?
I had to Google what that means! In person it doesn't really look like ...that... nearly as much as in pictures.
The vintage lume was one of the main reasons I gravitated to the PRS-82 in the first place - makes it different without doing anything to make it flashy. Also makes it wear really well on a lot of...
I'll give that a shot - the strap for the Cocktail Time already comes reversed so as long as it's comfortable I'll be able to work with it. Thanks!
Number 433 is in NYC!
I recently picked up a PRS-82, and still trying it on different straps. I got Eddie's nylon on the deployant, which looks great with the watch as everyone has said, and the nylon is super quality. My...
Many Wolf winders can be either battery powered or plugged in.
Wow that is a lot of orange, even for me! Nice one.
Orange is actually my favorite color, so you're completely right, I should have an orange dial watch...
