Rocket time!
I'm the same size wrist as you and the velcro strap fits fine, I've heard there are 3 strap sizes though. I'll measure mine in a bit and edit this post - 29cm
The AD may swap it for a bigger size...
Close on the dial, off brand on the strap, I'm waiting for an AE Dr to write a discharge letter for my FIL so may well win the "most bored" contest, your move
Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using...
Indeed! Care to take a punt on the dial and what I replaced the bracelet with?
As that's a tough ask based on a lume shot, bear in mind my main preference is vintage, I love a Mil' watch and for...
I'm double wearing today, mainly because I can't take either of these off, no prizes for the first, but does anyone want to guess both from lume...
Most AD's I've spoken to talk of getting one a quarter with no real idea of if that pace will change.
My finding wins have come from, using a torch very low down as a raking light, waiting till is dark ish and then using the torch and looking for the shiney, as a last resort I have emptied the...
Steve - your inbox is full.
For your first day I would go with whatever you would wear out to a nice restaurant perhaps, intact jeans with a tidy jumper type of thing. I wouldn't rush out to buy...
Hmm. I don't have that arrow

Lol. I know, not at the same time. But it will be next to the table saw or the milling machine at some point

a case is always the first thing I get 😀 and it's saved the phone many times when it's fallen off the bench
Been using mine since yesterday and it's settling in nicely, no issues with the fingerprint, it's all been quite pleasant to use so far. As noted by someone else it's a slippery swine, sliding about...
No Time To Die
Very nice
As a first time attendee, I very much enjoyed the meet, great people and great watches on display. Thank you to the organisers
Biggest one in your budget, bandsaws are all about the rigidity of the frame. So the more tension you can get on a bigger blade the better, look for a tension release lever too, wish mine had one....
I'd get a bandsaw and router before a table saw, they will do most of the things you see 'murican tubers doing on a TS and much safer
What to get though, depends on what style of build you want to...
Thanks gents, I've mailed the museum 👍
Mrs G is taking me to Geneva for a watch assembly day with a watchmaker soon, and whilst there we'd like to get a tour around the PP museum, they list public tours in English on saturday afternoons...
We kept smelling drains in the upstairs bathroom, found a leaky pan connector, fixed it but the smell remained, did loads of checking all around the pipes all to no avail. Finaly traced it to...
Lovely old piece but desperately in need of a service, the balance spring is gummed together which is why it's running so fast.
Same here! I just assumed it was the normal state to not see images in your head. Just discussed this with MrsG and she's looking at me a bit odd now, she was a 6 on the image test, for me nothing,...
The closest on the seiko page to mentioning the pressage is a GMT (other than it being printed on the dial) are the words "Calendar-linked time difference adjustment function"
Do seiko even have a...
The dial in the middle caught my attention, so it took awhile for me to realise
I've never seen ads so personalised!
