100% the same. I abandoned JLC for that reason, and have more or less abandoned Breitling due to BUK issues. Stuart keeps me with Zeniths. ISTR that some on here know him so I hope he's seen this...

I have long had iPhones but don't use the iCloud (just the phone memory), or Safari (I use the Mozilla app), or iTunes (I use Spotify)! So I don't myself feel any great iPhone / Windows pc tension....

I've never heard of this issue on the Aerospace before. Sadly you have to suspect it's BUK price-gouging; if even 1 in 10 punters says "gosh, ok" then it's easy money.

I think with quartz BUK are pretty avoidable - one can just get Russell Talerman, STS etc (and indeed several on this forum) to do a battery change. Mechanical are more of a headache.
