I don’t draw that conclusion. For example - gold cases would cost more to replace and are less resilient - but that material has been used for many years by almost every manufacture.
Ouch. So sorry. I do hope your accidental damage policy covers it.
I guess a case replacement. I’m getting my second ceramic case’d watch soon - I won’t be taking it to the gym!
Cheers!
Tell that to Beethoven or Bach. Life is fundamentally just data. Only a matter of time before we are absorbed into the machine.
I had to bring my own carrier bag for my last Rolex as the store was withholding them. Terrible service. I’ll never use them again.
the Breitling has an independent GMT hand (hour hand not independent). it has ébauche ETA-2893-2

I can’t quite fathom what you are wanting - I have many years experience administering databases of various types - both structured and unstructured data. If you did want a simple relational...
You ask what I would do? I would make a claim against my insurance policy to make it good. It includes accidental damage.
So tempted by the Panda version! It looks fantastic! Pure class.
Back to the 806 re-issue today.

Taff. Breitling seem to be moving to on-line retail model. If you go the their website you can order online and have it delivered in one or two days to your door. Got my 806 re-issue that way. ...
My names on the list
mine is the re-issue - very authentic down to the domed acrylic glass but powered by the modern B-01 modified to be manual wind.
I have a theory the 3,6,9 possibly are designed for boiling eggs?...
So what is the history of the Breitling 806? Did pilots really use the slide rule for calculations - it’s certainly designed for it. And the totalisers marks at 3,6, 9 minutes - what about that? ...
looks good to me ! Well done. I have to admit my paintings are based on pictures (photos) when done in the art class. But the abstract melted Rubik’s cube was not a straight copy. The avocado I...
Thanks! Yes it is acrylic. I’m doing an intro course covering most media except oils. Pencil, charcoal, water colour pencil, water colour, acrylic. It is amazing how 4 hours can disappear it is...

After a few weeks I don’t think the results are terrible. A long way to go to proficiency but I am fairly happy with this one? What do you make of it? Not so bad for 10 week fine art course. Only...
It’s in the manual. Yes you can.
Sorry - over budget - but never say never?

A small contribution :-
This discussion makes me think of Asimov's Three laws of robotics:
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

I doubt it is cost effective to replace electronic components inside the movement?
The only current Breitling using the movement in the B1 is the chrono military.
...
I’d send back to Breitling call / email via webpage them direct rather than AD and they will send you a service pack - insured postage.
may insist on a full service - perhaps a module change....
