I got mine at a similar time, for a touch more. List was £3520 as of about March ‘17.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the 11/126710 lug width 20mm? The BB (GMT) is 22mm - definitely would not fit a Rolex jubilee.

It’s strap colour. Don’t know which is which, but one has a green/khaki nato, and the other a brown/beige one.
Not sure if Bronze is immune from papa Tudor’s decision to split out different strap...
I agree - for reference, the £9k I was referencing is dealer’s price.

Nice one! Now that obligatory lume shot... I hear Balls look even better in the dark.

Unsure, but I wouldn’t have thought it would be much less than the new SD43, which trades at about £9-9.5k fully stickered. I’m just astonished at the change in such a short amount of time. No doubt...
Oddly, as a twenty-something, ‘Ball Skin’ has never crossed my mind wrt these watches. Need to re-evaluate maturity levels.

Iconic Watches had one at £6250 brand new, fully stickered on the day the SD43 was announced (March ‘17). Interesting to see where these have gone over the last 18 months...

Won’t be able to find an AD in the uk offering a discount on these. Three reasons: demand appears very high, and they don’t stick around very long; Rolex have tightened dealer discounts; and the UK...
They’ll try it on! To defend why this might be worth more than most LVs, it is a very late model with RBR and in exceptional condition. To me, this watch is peak Submariner - but I think it’s worth...
I think it’s a dog, and low effort at that. CK2998 is a great watch, but this is quite a gimmick to me. There again, they aren’t going to be able to recoup the development costs of what I would...
Awesome. If I were you, I would certainly hang on to the SD4K.
My dad should be picking up the SD43 today. May see if I can get the 16600, 116600, 116660 and 126600 all in a row...
Uhh... WOW.

I'm currently the proud owner of three watches: a 16570 Exp II, Speedy FOIS and a Longines Admiral Diver from the late 80s. I must say, this ticks...
Photo from the day I got my 16570 Explorer II 3186 (some 9 months ago now) :)
My view on these is that they're criminally underrated. Such a professional-looking, utilitarian watch.
