Phone call from Goldsmiths this afternoon - mine is back too. The Mrs is being despatched to collect it tomorrow! Hopefully I follow suit and stop hating it as soon as it re-appears

Spoke to Rolex in West Malling today and was told, to my complete surprise, that the part they'd been waiting for had arrived and been fitted yesterday.
The part in question was an entire new...
I did laugh at him when he told me that. He then reeled out the classic ‘is there anything else I can help you with?’
You haven’t helped me with what I rang up for, why would I want you to try and...
Just spoke to Rolex myself. They stuck to the party line of ‘your part will be here by the end of this week so you should have your watch back by the end of next week’
They also said it wasn’t a...
Just had a call from Goldsmiths Canterbury: they’ve spoken to Rolex UK in West Malling who’ve advised them that they’re at product recall stage and that I can’t expect the watch back until 31/05/2019...
Got a phone call from AD today - you were right: there’s a problem with getting the part from Geneva. It’s been delayed. It might turn up by the end of this week, then they can start repairing it...
I decided some new straps might help me bond with it, when it finally re-appearshttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190304/145cfc79bd2df8987d18c4e683900704.jpg

Do you mind me asking how much you paid? Goldsmiths in Canterbury have only ever managed to give me guesstimate prices and as mine has been bin for repair since the start of Jan I’ve nevee chased up...
Aaaaaand it’s on it’s way back to Tudor. Was still showing “5” in the date window this afternoon, pulled the crown out to the winding position and it jumped to half way between 5/6. Pulled it out to...
17.5 hours and still going strong. Weird!
I’m conducting an experiment. The watch has been sat on the table since 6pm. I’ll see if / what time it stops tomorrow.
Yes - wound at least 20 times.
For a watch with a quoted 70 hour power reserve, mine stops a lot - I wear it every day from around 8am to 10pm during the week. I went to put it on around 2pm today and it had stopped at just gone...
I didn’t get as far as that. Just pulled the crown out and back in again. As I found it odd that it still hadn’t moved on gone 1am
In terms of the date change issue - from what I have read it's to do with the date not fully moving round to the next day?
For other owners: when does your date move round? I ask because I noticed...
I’ve got stuck thin wrists and it’s fine (especially now the bracelet has finished plucking all the hairs it didn’t like out of my arm)
Unless I charge it with the torch on my phone, the lume on mine in next to useless and even then it only lasts a few minutes.
