Agreed - currently on a Hirsch Ranger (I wear the lighter coloured version of this strap with my Longines Heritage Military 1938 handwound 43mm).

That's lovely. I had wondered if the white dial might look a little bigger on the wrist. Might just be so.
Really not finding the height an issue at all. Reminds me a lot of my old IWC 3706 Fliegerchronograph. If anything the Monopusher is better-proportioned than the 3706, and certainly has a far cleaner...
