Of course, or that :)
Lol Eddie, the TZ equivalent would be the fastest lacing up a pair of size 6 brown brogues and zipping up an xxxl Belstaff.
The cream dial one finished at £475, past the reserve so its gone. He's put the black one back on, so guessing the reserve may be £400?
That would have been a bargain! I dont remember to look at wtb that often, I should.
I think if the vendor had pitched these a couple of hundred higher on buy it now's they'd have flown.
Black Navigator just finished at £390, reserve not reached. The same seller has the cream dialled version finishing in about 12 minutes, currently on just over £200, reserve not reached either.
There is a Navigator described as unworn, reasonable price too, but why photograph it with the strap not fitted?
The first name has now been edited to read "my husband". Strange that....
For anyone fancying a Willard this is a great alternative (not affiliated to the seller or listing in any way).
...
There is no buy it now option other than having an offer accepted. £750 is the starting bid price.
That was basically my point. For someone who wants one but can't or won't join the Sunday melee it won't matter to them that it's not sold out, or that it's a ton over retail. I wouldn't pay it, but...
I wouldn't pay it either. But for someone who wants one badly, and as its only available for a minute or so in the shop every few weeks the fact it's not sold out is immaterial.
As I said in post 505, if Eddie sells 200 watches on a Sunday and half a dozen end up on ebay why should that be his problem? He is already doing all the work he has the time and energy for. So four...
A quick (and admittedly not exhaustive) search reveals 6 brand new timefactors watches available on eBay as I write this post.
To me it wouldn't seem to be worth Eddie's time and trouble to check...
Or seller and buyer agree that if there is a problem in the first 12 months the seller will get it sorted 'pretending' to still own it.
