Absolutely and it suits the Pan Am very well. Now, a 39mm Pan Am would definitely float my boat but sadly, highly unlikely. So much cleaner and easier to read without the cyclops as well.

The concern with the 42mm case and the 22mm bracelet for that matter, in my opinion, is not overstated. My wrists are marginally bigger than yours and the 42mm was just uncomfortable, and I had two....

I think it really works, especially at 39mm, and so after a particularly challenging year, I have ordered one for Christmas. I'll let you know what I think in the New Year.
