I missed out "in the current era" or "since 2012" :-)
I agree to a point. Where I think he excels is in player and ego management which is a different challenge. Man City are better than they were under the previous managers.
If Man City get banned from the Champions League they will be a shoe in for the Premier League with no European distraction. The challenge will be keeping their players happy and playing with limited...
Shows the depth of quality in the PL.
Liverpool technically needed only 2 goals in the 2nd half (then the next goal by either side wins it). Spurs needed 3 goals in the 2nd half or they were out.
Liverpool had it all to do in 90...
Moura's second goal was exceptional. The speed of his feet on that turn (4 touches and the shot). Amazing!
If Kane is fit, I hope he is on the bench.
If Trippier plays, then I'll be cursing.
Messi's free quick was very special. I loved the angles they showed of it with the amount of bend it got.
3 at the back was a big tactical error. When Spurs shifted it around they got back into it. Bad crossing all night though.
Wet Spam upped their game today and were worth the win so well done to them. Anderson looked dangerous on the left and Antonio was always a threat. Spurs, were threadbare and had an eye on the game...
Yepp, the United fan I sit next to echoes that. I find it Bizarre! Why make your competitors richer or more enticing to the worlds best players?
He works better as an impact sub. The problem is he is too static for the way we need to play. Janssen showed better movement and threat in the 10 minutes he was on.
Agree, send the big man on as an impact sub. We can't treat him as the main man for 90 minutes. Harry Kane he is not.
Yes, Janssen could have been started earlier. Even Skipp could have given us...
Just back too.
Note to self. Do not go to Brighton games as inevitably they park the bus and make for a dull anti-football match. Ryan started wasting time from the 9th minute.
Spurs need to...
Targeting winning Europa League?
Arsenal can certainly up their game when needed. Very strong against Spurs. Controlled vs Napoli.
Agree that 3rd/4th in PL would give the comfort, but it seems...
City v Spurs on Wednesday was the most traumatic game I have ever watched. Friends and colleagues were saying "you must be ecstatic" but I just felt shattered (admittedly with a smile on my lips) 3...
Klopp could be in hot water too for his comments about the ref in the West Ham game.

MOTD2 had good analysis and showed how Man City stifled Jorginho and forced breakdown of play and mistakes from Chelsea. So a solid gameplan and clinical finishing did the work. Sarri went from 100-1...

Agree, and have been willing Ole on to do well. Even Spurs losing to Man U had a silver lining in raising Ole's star.
I think Spurs have more chance in the Champions League than in the Premier...
Can't see Spurs sustaining it though. Not enough quality in depth and cover. Not to mention, no proper pre-season for a lot of players.
Spurs need to spend to get that extra 6-9 points per season...
