Another Sidi shoes and Shimano SPD user here, but I use XTR trail pedals on my bikes with no discomfort issues at all. That's 2 road bikes and 1 MTB.

eBikes aren't cheating. People are just becoming confused. Using eBikes is motor cycling. Cycling is a human making a bicycle move with his/her body.
Roseberry Topping.
I use heli tape from Paragon Tapes, also very good for making your own caseback protectors. Virtually invisible and easy to apply.
Well priced tools there. The headset press is calling to me . . .
Interesting development from Shimano.

So many "innovations" over the years. I've been cycling for nearly 50 years. 1st decent bike was a Carlton Clubman, Reynolds 531 frame with Stronglight, Suntour, Mafac, Campag, 10speed 52/42....
Who services a bicycle ? Probably 99% of all other cyclists. To get the freehub body off you need to remove the axle and bearings and then use a 12mm allen key into the freehub body. Some older ones...
Looking at the condition of that wheel, with what looks like a broken spoke, I'd get a price for a new wheel. If the rest of the bike's like that perhaps a new bike?
Ditched the bouncy things at least 15 years ago for Pace RC31s. Before that, pre bouncy things, I had Kona P2 rigid steel forks on a Kona Cindercone, reasonably light and nicely compliant. You might...
As above, and Lusso do comparable shorts as well.
I've got Great Dun Fell on my list to do, looks like "fun" ! A bit far for a day out so probably do a B&B jaunt sometime.
I know, couldn't help looking when the tinkering bug bit again! However there's so much f***ying about involved converting the Kona that if I do get a gravel type bike it'll do the jobs of the Felt...
The last build I did was this Avanti, 8speed Campag Record/Chorus etc mix. A lovely 531 frame I found for sale in a bike shop, filthy, covered in stickers, but the lugwork and cast bottom bracket...
When I bought my Rose several years ago (and subsequently my Felt) I took a lot of detailed measurements from the Kona to get a similar and back friendly position on the bike, albeit a little lower...
I've been thinking about converting my trusty Kona HeiHei to drop bars and a double 10/11 speed set up, in a gravel bike stylee. Lots of obstacles in my way! So far it's looking like 10speed brifters...
That's a Felt F95, I have the Z95 model. The difference is that the F95 has slightly more "racy" geometry, whereas the Z95 is more relaxed, also mine came with an 11-32 cassette, the one you are...
I agree with your statement above. I don't consider use of those contraptions as cycling, so IMHO you may as well buy your missus a Honda 50. ;-)
Proof of the pudding, I'm also only on my second Flite Ti since the 90's! :biggrin-new:
I find this very comfortable . . .

I'd edit this as soon as you possibly can, or you will definitely be on your bike.
Pedersen ?
I've been riding a Rose Pro SL3000 for several years, the Pro SL 105 is about your price range, there may be something in their sale. Their UK chap was great work with when I contacted him about...
