so did Omega re-issue the Ed White watch? Which from what I have read above is a speedy pro but without the Professional on the watch face?

Regardless of the way the watches were selected, it's still a great read and brilliant background info on Ed White.

Shopping in Valletta, Malta (as you do), browsing all the watch shops, a Speedy Pro (metal bracelet) is €4800 !!!!!!! (£4,300) and that's from an AD. Had a chat with the sales guy and showed him UK...
