haven't owned one but tried both
I would pick the 5712 as I find the 5990 just a tad too sporty.

A reverso Tribute in any configuration that suits your style/budget (not a great investment though)

Panerai resale values seem to be at an all time low atm.
Expect <50% in short term regardless of bits and bobs.
check out Oakleigh watches they have some lady rolex pieces from time to time
for me it would be the RM 011

I would say almost every watch looks better in real life than in pictures. Video a good intermediate step to get a better idea of what a watch really looks like
I would definitly go for the Omega, that co axial movement is a beauty and overal product more elegant than Tudor. I tend to find the Tudor to thick to my liking
This seems to be the concensus, have posed the same question on rolexforum with similar feedback.
If that's the case I'm quite happy with my purchase. Am of course fully aware that it's not the most...
Paid < 10k
bought mainly because of the look but as always with Rolex also with the sense that I wasn't throwing money away.
It's sure that prices on Chrono for this piece are beyond what I've paid...
I hope this can convince you: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=387926
the dial has reference: 13/18038 S321
Funnily enough the ref nr in the dial is 18038, don't know if this has any...
I replied to you r.e. the picture I found on Rolex Passion Report. On there that stated that that picture was a factory dial. That was not a picture of my watch
here's another picture of my watch...
yes it is
Here's a picture of Rollex Passion report that seems to be consistent r.e. date

am still awaiting delivery.
the diamond setting is consistent with other on the web, not sure what you're refering too?
Hello guys,
I kind of very enthousiatically bought a day date at auction with a lapis lazuli dial without doing all proper research
The case and bracelet are 18038 model but after some research I...
Thanks for the feedback, but I didn't win the watch at auction.
Hey guys,
I was browsing an auction catalogue and my eye fell on an old AP ROO with triple calendar model nr: 25807ST
I've always lusted after the AP RO and ROO but haven't gelled with anything...
My explorer 1
I have a watch buddy that bought and sold a couple of pieces there both wathces and art. The watches were hit and miss but so far he's been pleased with the experience overall.
I spotted a lady in my local supermarket wearing the platinium Daytona, flaberghasted
I don't understand the whole bronze thing. I mean it's an inferiour metal choice for a watch that is sure to get in contact with moisture over time.
Why is everybody so crazy about it?
The rolex works, the pan doesn't. I would chosoe a little less flashy colours though, think you'll get bored pretty quickly of the emergency jacket orange
Can't think of any reason why changing the hands would make them line up.
I would expect however for everything to line up properly when receiving a watch back from service, just keep pushing them
This is so ridicoulous behaviour from the AD I really can't believe Rolex would support this.
I guess if you want to have it, it'll probably be your best opportunity for a while, so depends on how...
more than the ceramic! that's a trend I haven't seen anywhere else, very weird. Were there other such anomalies in the Japanese watch world?
