17mm Martyn?
I was considering a watch for myself, not my action man figures lol ;). I mean it looks fantastic, but...
Exactly. Wearing mine today, and it’s incredibly comfortable.
But isn’t that true of almost any/every brand, Paul? Even cars, motorbikes, or anything really. I can find something I like from most brands, but the vast majority of models they sell either do...
Thats not too long to wait. Could you imagine a few other brands that would benefit from fulfilling orders in a few months ;)
Don’t they run all their own LV stores. Whereas most Zenith watches are sold by AD’s that need to shift stock.
The CEO has stated that previously all they cared about with the brand selling to the...
You do realise the 10th of a second is measured around the full dial with the chronograph hand and not the Sub dial, making it very easy to read, and exceptionally usually for sub 1 seconds...
I do prefer the overall look of the black bezel 1/10 of a second in the three watch 50th anniversary set - but they’ve put the bloody date at 6 (granted, I appreciate a lot of people might actually...
No. They really are there. I can see them ;)
I quite like one or two (most were a little bit in the god awful category) of the old Nataf Defy Extreme watches, but from memory they were around £20k to £75k for the ones that had that look, one...
Its a tricky one. How many of these movements are they likely to make this year? With an overall total annual production of around 22,000 watches, it wouldn’t take too much to sell out a year’s...
I haven’t looked at them close enough to consider it as a purchase - more than happy with my Speedy Tuesday at the minute for a main Speedmaster.
If I hadn’t recently bought the Defy21 I’d likely...
If I’d ordered a 321, then I’d be buying that :)
You’ll have more opportunity to buy the Zenith at a future date.
All good on my iPad
That would be a winner IMO
Ignoring price new and used, my order of preference would be:
White dial (ceramic) bezel Daytona
Black dial Zenith
White dial Zenith
Black dial Daytona.
I really don’t mind brushed or...
I do like the full length red second hand on the previous model.
The date position is one of my favourites, as it doesnt unbalance the dial. I’m not the biggest fan of a date at 6, but that suits...
I wouldn’t worry, they will offer other colours.
I also like that Zenith only produce around 20,000 watches annually, don’t make any quarts models, and every model now only uses a Zenith in-house...
They are changing though. They’ve reduced their network, increased sales by double digits, and are more heavily involved in AD sales rather than just sales to AD’s as they were in the past. It takes...
I wonder how much of the extra thickness is down to the display back and date, rather than the movement and case?
Always had the capability - it’s the way the chrono hand sweeps the dial to make it easier to read that improves that functionality though.
That would be a good call, if they included that model within their sales, which isn’t guaranteed by any means. But at would would be under £5k with that discount it would be a great buy.
