Been taking quite a bit of time off from watch buying but very pleased to have got myself a Commander today. Now for the wait...
Very pleased that it seems to be less of a scrum than before having not been in the market for a while. Finally got my finger out and bought a PRS40 with a confirmed order number! This watch has been...
This watch is simply stunning and is the first watch in a good while to pique my interest. Well done to the posters for such good initial pics. I'm a sucker for sub seconds and whilst I really...
A bit late to the thread I know but has anyone used Parcelhero?
Looks like a glorified courier service: collects from your door and will deliver UK and international with insurance upto £5k (a...
giving this one an outing today, well for most of this month actually

An old picture of mine but I just love the compact elegant simplicity of this watch which I've owned for the last 18 months and is in no danger of being moved on. I can understand the points made re...
Has to be the 16710 for me. Discrete, robust and versatile.

@ dougair
I think I got it from Cathedral Pens a fair while back. Brown leather exterior, 12 pen capacity and holds decent sizes pens comfortably, very happy with it.
Finally managed to get some pictures of this hard-to-photo watch that I quite like!
By day

I used fountain pens most of the way through school (Parker 25's) and then turned to the biro etc "darkside" at uni/work.
I've rediscovered fountain pens in the last few years and write with a...
I saw one of these in my local AD. (At least I think it was the same as the one in the OP but my retinas could only handle so much  )
Unsurprisingly, it's even more gopping in reality ...
Same watch as last Friday but a different picture (honest :D )

Enjoy the bank holiday!
The name's Placement....Product Placement :D

Another outing for the GMT2

Very pleasing to see my old Speedbird comfortably settled in its new home (depiste the efforts of the Post Office not to get it to Scrubnut!) and in such good company too.
Just to add that...
I've had mine for just over a year now and still love it.
I can understand the "Beadle" comments and that's the only (very minor) possible detractor to my mind. However, I tried both 36 and 39...
Rally for me too. Had my Speedy on a TSS Rally which worked well. Having sold the watch it's the one I miss most. When I get another it'll be going straight onto a Rally style strap again.
Snap! Except my lad is only 3 so I'm hanging on to my 2255.80 for a while yet :P
To the OP: keep the EB and lose the quartz! (yes, I'm biased)
I really like the older version with the white face but was keen to try on the new version. Popped to my local AD and tried the black faced version. Whilst the case size wasn't too big for me...
Currently getting alot of time on the wrist despite my pic making it look like an ebay special!

Enjoy the weekend everyone
Trying to do a moody shot and it just came out a bit pants (and a week late in the posting)! Been wearing this for the last 3 weeks non stop
Have a great Christmas everyone  ...
It's not something that overly bother me. For a while now I've just been wearing 2 watches in alternate daily rotation ie a 39mm Explorer and a GMT2.
I know that the Explorer runs a bit slow...
I've been having a bit of watch hiatus recently and downsizing but that could seriously make me rethink.
I've not trawled through all the pages of this thread but has our host given any...
