I have a particular interest in the Dambuster raid of 1943 ( a relative was a pilot who was killed in it) and am interested in getting a watch of that era that was issued at that time to RAF bomber...

I have found a very old Rolex oyster and have no idea about it other than its working but missing its bexel and crystal. I know i have to be careful of the radioactive lume.
Does anyone know...

A good write up...... I'm very happy with mine (Black version) ...and currently have it on a brown leather strap The lugs aree quite short so the stap rubs against the case, but over time i'm sure it...

A good idea with the single pass nato's....Both of your strap options look good. I'm also waiting for the chrono version to be released..... I like the design of these very much.

I very much like these more simple classic looking panerai watches..... very nice.

I bought a few seikos when first being interested in and investigating watches but sold them.... I just prefer a different aesthetic.........the beauty of us all having differing tastes.

I understand your point....At the end of the day everyone can just do what they think best......a win win....... If you like acrylic, just replace with acrylic. I've replaced many , both with acrylic...

I think your white version looks great on the dark/black strap....i like the contrast.
