The Apollo 8 is one very stunning watch. Love the Zenith too. Thanks for the photos

Superb, such a cracking design.

Because the 5 is supposed to wear larger I really wanted a brilliant deal on it, which I just couldn't find. So bit the bullet and went all in on the 6.

Yes I am really enjoying mine. Have worn it all the time since getting it. Lots of nerdy data to look at, which is keeping the amused.

When I saw your earlier post about the 5S I nearly went for them. What swung me to the 6 the size.

If I could have got the Grit X at that price, I would have chosen that one.

I couldn't get Jura to go further than 15%. The deal I got with First Class is just about 17.3%, so fairly even.

Finally replaced my Suunto X9i from 2006 with a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200502/63915c28cb9022e72a603b42ea17ad06.jpg

Go back to them and ask again. They gave me the £469 on the second go.
Build seems fine to me but I am not intending to wear it all the time, only when I am undertaking some activity. Personally...
£469. I made an offer and got £489 as the original response. I mentioned that they had sold one at £469 (the post is in this thread) which they then came back with. The 6X would have been £509 as...
Finally decided to go with the Fenix 6 Pro. Got a good price from First Class Watches. They were great to deal with, they even sent me wrist shots to help me work out whether to go for the 6 or the...
Well I had almost convinced myself to go for a Polar Ignite and a handheld GPS. But now Polar have released the Grit X and I am back comparing that to the Fenix. The Grit seems a good deal at £379.
...
Hope you like it. I have started drifting towards a handheld GPS for hiking and a simpler fitness tracker/sports watch. Just dithering as usual!
Thanks for the information. And hope things improve for you.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Please count me in, ticket or not.

Sorry to hear about you having to sell some keepers. Thanks for the detailed post. Did you use First Class 'make an offer' functionality? That's a pretty good deal.

I would have to strap it around my thigh it's so massive.

I used the WhatsApp live chat and that's what they offered on the 6 Pro.

Thanks. Yes I have read quite a lot of that site. Really in depth and a great resource. He seems to lean towards the 6.

Congratulations Watchnation had some good deals. I nearly went for the titanium solar one. Think that X version would have been be too big for me. But they haven't much stock now.

Do you mind me asking what you paid and where from?

Yes I do always take a paper map and proper compass if somewhere new, so it probably is wanting the new toy :-). Mind you my Suunto X9i that I bought in 2005 does bread crumbs, so just going for...
Jura has just offered me 15% off the Fenix 6 and their RRP is lower than Blacks. Jura's RRPs are the same as Garmin's who have just reduced their prices.
