Pretty decent book though imho.
Good to know I´m not alone...Bit edgy maybe this, but I wasn´t blown away by Dune 2, not rubbish, certainly watchable but somehow lacking grandeur, drama... maybe it´s because I´ve read the books,...
Genuinely thanks for that... the wife and I turned it off after about 20 minutes or so, seemed to be shaping up exactly as you describe...but I´ve been wondering in passing if I´d missed something...
Just so...perfect pizza movie.:peaceful:
American Star...not quite total rubbish because McShane does his best but it was just so slow burn, opaque, uhm the ending...you know when a film doesn't...
We didn’t take to it either, iirc turned it off after about 20 minutes and haven’t tried again.
Aha...Thank you.
Agreed not looking for his death, would settle for a concluded story arc to ensure no future returns of Dr Jones and no further exploitation of the previous much enjoyed-loved work, asset stripping...
Since I didn't watch to the end, please help a buddy out, did the movie at least then bring a close to Dr. Jones?
Strangely the SW spin off we´ve most enjoyed was the Han Solo prequel film. BR was...
Couldn't watch it to the end, felt like such a cynical betrayal of the first couple of movies...Surely HF doesn't need the money.
The Stath not at his best in the MEG2, that's a fact.:highly_amused:
Yup same same.
I gave up on Oppenheimer, found it tedious and I imagine we all of us know the end...yay you´ve- we´ve become death whopppeee.
I thought Sharknado was better, maybe worth a look if you´ve not seen it.
Oh dear, sorry to hear that.
Cocaine Bear, it's a grisly turkey.
Really that is a bit of a surprise about the Revenant, I thought it´s one helluva tale, pretty well told as well. Watched it a couple of times now. As you say though it´s all subjective.
Banshees...
Bit of an acquired taste d'ya think?
A real let down...DC man!
Could be Phase 4 not 3. As you say very hit and miss, liked Moon Knight wacky/ different good...Ms Marvel not good, woeful...The Falcon and the Winter Soldier also wasn't too bad.
Not a patch on Ragnorak, it's almost as if his character arc from it and the avengers Infinity War and End Game movies hadn't happened also the writing was poor, the jokes didn't land, Zeus' accent...
I enjoyed Red Notice too, more so than NTTD honestly...maybe Ryan Reynolds could be the next Bond, there were a couple of moments in RD when the music I thought did veer towards the Bond theme...
Ooof 2 hrs of Brad and daddy issues:grief:
Once upon a in hollyweird...Was it a pastiche, parody or buddy film, I am still not sure, watchable but I felt ultimately unsatisfying.
Although Roy’s...
I think the new Spidey film gives it a run for the money though. Dire, real shame.
Aquaman, a washout for me, sorry to say.
It's even worse when you meet an adult whose almost first words are " I'm a Harry Potter fanatic", give me strength...
