Oh yes same, the guys in my example as with the OP were wearing the watch more dangled over the hand than slightly loose on the wrist. Less wristwatch, more handwatch. Each to their own I guess.
That's what I would figure aswell. On a pub crawl recently in a trendy city bar I saw two young hipsters, well dressed and with Rolex watches very loose dangling below their shirt cuffs. Reminded me...
