For the plastics, it may be worth trying Autoglym Magic Sponge. They're cheap quick and easy to use mainly for cleaning plastic, but might help with the scratches.

I've got an MTG 910D which wraps nicely round my wrist (c.7"). I would definitely buy more if they were smaller. Odd really, as I'd guess the size of the average Japanese wrist is fairly small.

I got a used one a week ago. Gorgeous watch, and with a bit of overnight positioning it's accurate to the second so far. Smoother to wind than my ETA's too. Hope you like it.
