I’ve been sending stuff via Royal Mail special delivery but was wondering whether anyone had better services to suggest. Especially when it comes to safety/insurance, as I’ve been reading/heard some...
These look amazing Eddie. How ‘tall’ are these?
Hi. I have an old (late) 2008 macbook (2ghz core 2 duo, 4gb memory), which I'll probably need to replace sooner or later. I'm quite happy it has lasted this long and I can probably get another year...
I came across this one Instagram - can anyone help identify it?
It has four separate crowns, which can be accessed through turning the watch on an axis. It may be an 80s model - and it’s a quartz...
Taking the back off is probably sensible. Does the dial have an applied omega logo? Other more knowledgable can comment but I'm not sure whether the straight writing back ever had the don bezel [?] -...
Thanks - it did arrive today. Overall, I'm very happy. I understand the potential reasons for not incl. tracking details that all makes sense to me now - but they need to include something in their...
I also got the confirmation yesterday that it has been shipped via UPS - should I expect for it to arrive today?
I don't understand why they can't include tracking details for "for security...
Just tried it - says ‘expired’. Boo!
Was the club with display back?
looks awesome - I hope it's not too limited a production.
Lovely patina :)
Some of you probably already know - John is no longer fixing watches.
Who would you recommend for military and vintage watches? At the moment I have an old 30s-40/ Grosvenor that needs some...
You probably want to ask for pictures of the movement, caseback and inside of the bracelet clasp as well.
I think 39mm is slightly on the big size for this. I understand why they went with that but I'd like to have seen a 36mm or possibly 38mm.
Have a look at rivet and hide, they have a nice selection of shirts. You could also go with mccoys or even nudie. It depends on the style and the type of fades you'd like to achieve.
Nearly bought one - really like them. Plus it's a great cause.
The only minor thing to be aware of is the LE is specific to the countries. So I think 38mm is for the American market, then the UK...
Resurrecting - does anyone have any more recent experience? and/or recommendations? I'm due to get a suit in the coming months. Any input will be appreciated.
A mate got 20% off [for black Friday].
My mother-in-law [don't worry she's lovely] has a women's Rado, where the crystal has cracked. Rado quoted her a around £350 to get it fix - the watch surely isn't worth that.
It's not a standard...
Interesting - I've not seen any great returns on any peer to peer lending. What sort of 'margins' can one realistically achieve?
At that price, I think Sinn, Damasko or Fortsis would be my preferences. You might be able to get a speedmaster reduced at that price as well.
If you're looking towards smaller watches - I'd also...
What sort of price range? that'll help narrow things down.
It's an old hoax for viral marketing purposes - http://uk.businessinsider.com/head-transplant-hoax-2015-4
I'd go hesalite crystal without see through caseback - that's the most 'original' form of it.
If he is a nasa geek, he might appreciate one of the snoopy models. They can be expensive - but you...
