Re: New Arrival and the collection

Can't say I am a big fan of square watches... but that Ingenieur looks great. Nice collection!
  2. Re: Tudor Heritage Chrono (Grey Dial)

I was lucky enough to buy at a very nice price from the 1st owner, here in my country. As far as I know Tudor is not official sold in the UK but you can find them in Greece through Rolex ADs.
  3. Re: Tudor Heritage Chrono (Grey Dial)

Thanks for all the comments guys!

My initial opinions remain a month later. The watch is a true chameleon, as the following pictures can attest. It makes a perfect pair to fat leather (Panerai...

Re: Rolex 14060 Submariner - going going gone?

I do own a 14060M. You either belong to the people that love classic Rolex and don't care about the tin but functional bracelet or you are the majority of people who buy the brand name and because of...

Re: Zenith Stratos - any owners?

This looks like a tough tool watch. But how much of an instrument can it be, when it cannot perform its basic function due the ridiculous overlapping dials? To have a 45mm case and not be able to fit...

Re: Rolex itch - do I scratch?

Since you are allready wearing bigger heavier watches, I say go for the newer Rolex models. Old style Exp II are not for you. It might look great in photos but you will miss the weight and size.

  10. Re: Tudor Heritage Chrono (Grey Dial)

Thanks guys for all the comments.

Before buying it, I had some reservations regarding the "novelty" that this watch brought to my collection. It is the most extravagant watch I have, for the time...

Re: The new SMP up on the Omega website

Seems many people hate particular elements of the watch.

I am not a fan either. Also Omega pushing the prices just for marketing reasons makes things worse.

Re: 25 Rules For Watch Collectors

I have one more.... Never go skiing wearing your "good" watch, particurarly when your are prone to epic falls.

The mountain took my (then) best Seiko.

Re: How to store your gold Rolex

This should have been the norm. Thankfully, as the watches in the SC testify, people take way too much care of them.

On another note, I have seen some pretty roughed up Rolex wathces, return from...
  15. Re: Rolex Submariner for sale (est $230,000 to $450,000)

This will end up on Ebay, hard to use as a daily beater. :)

    Re: 'Strap changing marks'

I don't change straps really often but when I do, I tape the lugs.

For people who change a lot or are paranoid about scratches better invest on a proper tool by Bergeon. Bergeon 6825 makes...

    Re: Oakley Watch Storage Vaults

For 16610 go for the small. Better fit. A friend bought a couple during a trip and for non supercase Rolex, small size is better.

Anyone care to point me where to buy one online?
  20. Re: Looks good in a picture but bad on the wrist and vice versa

Omega Speedmaster, (Moonwatch). Every picture I see, I love it, every time I try it on I change my mind and buy something else. This has been going on for a couple of years. Maybe the case design,...

Any chance for a bigger picture? I would like to print it and paste it on top of a certain box with compartments.

Thanks for posting, 1st time I saw it.

Re: Best brush for cleaning a watch?

You are pretty much right, both the toothbrush and the olive oil soap, I recommended, are dirty cheap, easy to find things. So are microfiber cloths, any type will do. I have also used generic cream...
