One thing that I thought about yesterday with the clocks changing, was how much fun it use to be changing the time on the Seafire!

^^^ Agree with you there Velorum the green looks like a nice strap, but just not right.
The 50p test is becoming a TZ classic! It is a really useful guide.
The one thing that did surprise me about the Seafire was the lack of drilled lugs. I thought these would have been good to avoid a slip of the spring bar tool and a disaster scratch!
Sure there...
^^^ That looks a perfect fit to me spot on for your wrist.
The photo might inspire Eddie to expand from just doing NATOs matching watches to entire clothing ranges! It is almost identical.
Well thats gonna get everyone salivating!!! Great shot!
I get a feeling that the PRS-82 rubber might also suit it as well...
I can't wait for Wed / Thurs / Friday-thread picture extravaganza of this beauty!
Great price too.
The visibility of the Seafire looks stunning. Great for glancing at in the car needed in a MX-5 as there is no clock! Looks great Eddie.
I assume it is badly worded and means it jumps 2 seconds every 2 seconds but I maybe wrong!
A sweeping hand quartz? That would be lovely!
^^^^^^^ Well, hello beautiful…..
Is it just a change to the hands? Makes it look more rugged and like a dial from a cockpit.
I get a gut feeling, that as Eddie has the Seafire NATOs being delivered soon he has definitely made his decision on the colour of the second hand by now...
I can't wait to see it!
In case people have missed this over on the NO MORE BLUE NATOS thread......
Sorry, when I said 'find' I didn't mean trawl on the internet. I assumed it was your picture - my post probably didn't read very well. Great example would have probably been a better phrase. Thanks...
There is massive potential in this one becoming a base design for a watch... great find.
I'd love to see two hands like that contrasting each other. Counter to be a date? Or a jump hour?!?!
...
So here is now it looks with black like you suggested - dark, but it could of course work with some thought.
...
Just playing around with the logo on the face of the watch now. I think it work quiet well...
...
Thats always going to be the problem using a crown.....!
Simpler... Filled in.

I have always like the crown logo, but as soon as the 'boob' issue was pointed out I agreed. But I don't see why with a little tweeking it couldn't work fine. I like this version of the Smiths...
Well we don't want to ask for to much Chris! haha. I think it looks great on what you have mocked up - would a rubber suit it? I think leather myself...
That looks great Chris! Sure we can have a multi striped nato, single green striped one and a leather with green stitch. The perfect package.
I quiet like the second hand knob... adds a nice shape to the dial. It wouldn't bother me crossing the white at all. But you could increase the back on the hands from the centre fractionally, so it...
This is very nice... I agree with the comments about a touch of colour. I always like how Damasko do it - seem to get a nice level to it and can lift the watch. The green is a nice accent. But if...
