This made me laugh out loud. Brilliant.
For me it was a Seiko SUN015 . . . Nothing to do with the watch mind it just looked utterly ridiculous on my wrist!!
To this day I have not got over the disappointment as I really love the look of...
I'm in. Donation made. Great gesture mate.
Rob
I have been rather neglecting this since getting a BLNR last year . . . And I have no idea why!! What a brilliant watch it is . . . Although I should have wiped it over before taking the pick!!
...
For me it is the BLNR . . with suit, jeans or shorts it never feels out of place. I often think of selling it as it is a lot of money to have in a watch (for me) but that doesn't detract from the...
I don't seem to wear anything else!! Although it's my birthday today so would probably have picked this even if I did wear any of my other watches!!!!
...
I know there are mixed feelings about them . . . And you have to wait for the monthly fire sale . . . But Christopher Ward have a few nice looking dress watches.
They also have various coloured...
Had a quick look on iconic the other day and they have the BLNR up at £7,950 . . . £2k over list is just incredible . . . And then I checked watchfinder which are 'used'!!!!
Be interesting to see...
I'm not even 40 and I like it . . . The day you realise there is just no hope for some of us!!
Although I'd have some socks on with those loafers too . . .
Rob
P.S. Love the DD OP
The red sub at £8.5k doesn't seem too bad though??
That's a really nice look. The Rolex ain't bad either!!
I wouldn't be selling the 16760 now either!!
Glad all good. No complaints here.
Good luck with the PP search. That's one heck of a watch.
Rob
You're not going to let the 14060 go again are you mate??????
You know where I am if you decide to . . . but I remember last time!!!!
Hope all's well.
Rob
Shame it's £4K . . . I like it but not anywhere near £4K.
Hopefully they will release some with similar design without some old car parts for sub-£1k!!!
Common as muck round these parts these days . . . And for good reason!!

Be interesting to see what watchfinder do. Especially with the BLNR as they are currently £6,450 and £6,750 . . . Expensive today but wonder whether they will still look expensive come Monday!!!
Same old . . . Still 50:50 whether it's going to last the summer . . . But keep wearing it as its faultless!!!
...
Sorry I don't know how to quote two posts!!
Yes, I've a BLNR (still on my wrist!!) and was sale not P/X. They offered £5,650-£5,750 originally and I popped in and they said £5,750 . . . Although...
I think used prices will stay strong for the next year or two.
Relative rarity (you don't often see one sat in an AD's window) and a weak pound won't help . . . and then there is the looming price...
Damn that's a nice watch mate. Congrats.
I've been hunting for a '78 for ages and finally gave in a bought a BLNR . . . If you ever get bored of it just let me know!!!
Rob
Thought about starting an alternative SWMBO thread . . . Maybe next week . . . But here is my better half's pride and joy:
...
New from an AD there is only £350 between the two at the moment. Not sure if this will change when the (sorry for mentioning it again!!) impending price rise hits.
Is there really a £1.5k...
Lovely. Just lovely.
And yet I can't quite seem to bond with mine! May be the first to flip . . . Not that it sounds like I will struggle to find someone who wants one!!
It fits as well as any...
If you were going secondhand I would be looking for one of the white faced Omega Seamasters.
If new, I would be looking at the Tag Heuer Aquaracer.
Rob
Excellent info Haywood. Do you generally wear the 'special' watches in your collection? And I have to ask if you have a favourite?
Sorry OP for minor thread hijack!!!
