Love the Mido too. My current favourite new watch is the Hamilton PSR. Not exactly square. More oblong-ish, but very cool nonetheless.

It was a ball ache for me, but I imagine the seller is not too impressed either. I will be quite wary buying via eBay now and certainly avoid selling through them

I bought via eBay verifiers recently and returned as the watch was not running within spec. UPS lost the parcel and were unhelpful. Actually I believe the UPS drop off point tried to steal the item....

The train from Manchester Piccadilly to Leeds is a nightmare at the moment due to engineering so will involve delays and replacement buses. Therefore I would take the ‘slow’ route to Leeds from...

    PSA Seiko Willard and 1965

Ernest Jones have some good deals on various Seiko including a white Willard, blue 1965 and 1968 and a green 1959 Alpinist. Also some discount codes seem to work on the more expensive of these.

A singles bar. Our eyes met across the dance floor and we both exclaimed “what the f*** are you doing here?”

Love that many of the bands are still around. I am seeing Pulp soon as well as James, the Charlatans and Johnny Marr. Looking like a decent year for gigs.

    Cyclops

I never liked cyclops lenses before I realised how useful they are. I tend to prefer no date watches but I love my new Nivada Spider and I won’t have a date watch without a cyclops lens now.

I thought the Black Bay 36mm was meant to be quite slim. Reviews state it is only 10.4mm. Is this not right? If it is then how slim is the new S&G by comparison?
