Just bumping this as Duncan is no longer able to service OQs.
Has anybody else used a UK (preferably London) independent recently?
Thanks

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has used a London independent to look after their OQ? Mine needs a battery change and a replacement of the battery bridle clamp. RSC are refusing to do that...
Will check them out! Thanks

Having got lost into James Hoffmann's yt videos - I just bought a wilfa uniform (not +) on sale. The journey begins...
Thanks to all that have responded! I'm looking into the de'longhi now and will keep an eye on that forum.
Could I get some bean grinder advice please folks?
I make aeropress, stovetop and cafetiere (when we have guests) currently. No espresso machine.
Currently hand grinding. What would you...
This is a fantastic thread! The setups and the dough science make fantastic reading.
I've been going back and forth on how to improve my pizza game - I finally ordered a roccbox on the weekend. I...
I agree that the strap is nothing special, but they’re easily changeable. The watches themselves though are simply ace. Mine is on heavy rotation.

Does anyone have a link for the new 40mm option? I can't find on their website.
Welcome

Oomph.
That's a beast.
I really like it. And at $10k I would have thought it would be the cheapest new FF on the market? Would love to be proved wrong though.
But there’s no way in hell I’m spending that much money...
Huge fan of these guys too. Bought a ghost datejust from them 3yrs back, based off of a WTB response from this forum. They were extremely pleasant to deal with both in store and post. Would love to...

AD in the papers this weekend has an Only Watch Global road show. London some time in October (think 17-19, but can confirm if anyone is interested).
It would be good chance to see some of these...
Broadly in line with this. I’ve had a pilot and Ing chrono, both excellent pieces. New stuff doesn’t impress, the new Ing in fact feels really cheap.
I would happily own a vintage Ing again or a...
Agreed! Not seen that one before. They seem to be turning out some rather attractive pieces at the moment.

Another vote for a Nomos Orion. Ever so slightly over budget but a classic watch that can be dressed up or down with a strap change. They wear large so try before you buy.

Good grief.
Left is more versatile. But the right is just gorgeous.
In pursuit of Stollen perfection.
Thanks for this!
I do agree that the ratio of bezel to dial is a little off with the barakuda, the bezel should be a little slimmer which would make it appear a little larger. The lugs are also really short though. ...
Love them - Just 3mm too big. Dammit.
would like this a lot more if it was 38mm. Really like the strap and dial texture.
This! That is the most interesting collection I’ve seen for some time, thank you for sharing.
PP and the Parmi were my favourites
