Thanks all! Very useful perspectives. Anyone know if AP will swap dials between mk1/2/3 - like short lume plot version for long plots? Or only colours within this?

Yea the cost of the service was insane! I suppose I came from a place of seeing vintage rolexes devalued by service dials / bezels hence the concern but agree there is peace of mind when it has been...
Hi guys, I'm looking at a AP Royal 14790 blue dial now that prices are starting to come back down to earth... I have been offered one for a decent price but has been serviced recently and had the...
Think you're all confirming my thoughts. Agree it is way too fresh to be original. And yes, I cannot find an equivalent model from my research.
I did ask the seller and he said he received it like...
Hi all,
I am not an expert in vintage watches but have been keen on getting a Gallet chronograph for a little while now. I also care a lot about condition so has been quite hard to find good...
Very cool, didn't even know this was in their range! Congrats

That is one funky tag! Didn't know they had that in the range...

Same - looks like it might be a size that actually fits my wrist!

I've had mixed experiences. Some transactions with no issues, sometimes things not turning up. But in those cases I was always refunded by AE as part of their policy. Agree that I probably would only...
Definitely make an offer - no harm trying. From my previous experience they had a little bit of leeway on the price but who knows in this current market...

I really like anordain for their stunning dials. They're towards the dressy end and I think they are around the £1k mark

Such a stunning blue! I used to have the old 43mm version and miss the way it sparkles in the light

Very nice combo! Is that the original strap the watch came with?

Agree - having tried on a skydweller, it is a lot larger and thicker than a daytona. Would definitely suggest trying one on before taking the plunge!

Some really nice improvements to it - enjoy!

Congrats! Is that the 36 or the 40?

Yes they are part of WOS. Just like watchfinder, they do markup everything 20-30%. I think they can just use the brand to sell at a much higher markup than others

Amazing congrats! I used to own the 43mm and sold it and now seriously considering this... how is it on the wrist?

Haha yes that is absolutely fair. Highlights my cynicism I suppose [emoji1787]

I wouldn't believe what you see on Chrono. Have a look on watchcharts (https://watchcharts.com/watch/649/rolex-milgauss-116400gv) and you'll see them up for sale between £8-10k. Even with duties of...
Good to hear they are available! Thanks for the info
