No wonder people are migrating to bloody Swatch these days.
I’m sure he’ll be refunded from the profits he makes from eBay and elsewhere!
I queued out overnight in London (quite an experience to say the least!) and managed to get a Swatch Blancpain Atlantic. It was funny (or sad depending on what way you look at it) watching a gang of...
First ones are already being ‘advertised’ on eBay at ridiculously inflated prices. You really do have to wonder what is going on down there in honest Swatchville? 🙄
How about the ‘Swatch Backpain’ to be caused by standing in line for 12 hours watching the flipper gangs jump the queue in front of you?
I also had some dealings with him a few years ago. The deal fell through but he seemed a thoroughly decent, honest guy.
I’ve got 10 moonswatches - apart from the Neptune - but there’s no way on Earth I would pay those prices for one.
I currently have 10 of them aside from the Neptune due to Swatch ‘doing a Rolex’ with that particular model. I also appreciate they are probably overpriced (for what they are - a bit like Eric Dier😅)...
So it’s all up to Manchester on 6 April then for another crack at getting the moonshine Gold; I’m madferit! 😅
Agree with that, I sold my Tudor Harrods to them a while back and their service was first class.
Should be a nice ruck down there later then! 🙄
I’d queue up overnight and buy all 11 if Rolex did the same. Love ‘em! 😀👍
A spursy outcome [emoji2957]
Twenty two seasons and still no moonswatches to put in my trophy cabinet! 😢😂

Have just been to Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Battersea, absolute waste of time unless you want either the pink or Tiffany blue ones.
Same with the ST1 and Ultraman Moonswatches that Fratello dreamt-up; they’d all go nuts.
A mate and I went to the Swatch store in Battersea today; he bought the yellow (Sun) and I bought the red one (Mars). There was a constant stream of people popping in asking for them when we were...
Wonder how long the queue for the real Omega boutique - just up the road from there - is? 🤔🙄
Agree, essentially anything reasonably popular from Rolex that you can no longer buy new - not that many of us have been able to buy new in the past five years or so!
I think a Rolex price correction/plateau for current or ‘ in-production’ models is on the way but anything more recently discontinued (particularly the popular SS watches; Hulk, all black GMT, BLNR...
I think the Tudor Rose BBN ETA 79920N (and to a lesser extent the red and blue versions) has still got some way to go in terms of appreciation. It’s also just a really nice watch 👍
So being in the SAS isn’t classed as Public Sector then? I was also in it for a couple of years before I transferred to the Department for Transport as an Administrative Assistant. Some of the paper...
Thanks for this wonderfully insightful account of the workings of the Public Sector. Point taken, but without Civil Servants who’d have processed you and your Private Sector chums’ furlough payments...
I’m one of ‘those’ public sector workers and own a Rolex - all subsidised by the good old British taxpayer, gawd bless ‘em!
Bet you’re a regular little Mr Angry in the Daily Mail comments...
Yes, you’re right, cheers.
