Hi All, I’m drawn to the Dreadnought GMT but would love to see one in the flesh before committing to buy. I wondered if there are any Dreadnought GMT owning forum members in either Leeds or central...
Just going through the same.
I've been yearning after a Speedy Pro for well over a year. Finally got on through SC last week, beautiful watch, absolutely perfect but... Doesn't feel right,...
I've used RyteTime for years. http://www.rytetimewatchrepairs.co.uk/
Great service and reasonable prices. Got an omega being serviced by him at the moment.
Use polywatch. If it works it is acrylic, if it doesn't it is glass (you'll see an improvement almost immediately with acrylic). For £3.99 got to be worth finding out this way rather than putting a...
Really? The illegal action of somebody over the age of consent can put a fine on somebody else? I've tried to google to find if this is true or not but couldn't find evidence either way.
That's just tormenting us. Give us the PICS!!
My mum and auntie have used http://www.Ancestry.co.uk for the last couple of years to take our family tree back to the 1700's - they've also had to go to local records offices to fill in gaps.
+1 he servised my SMP after getting water damaged in Mexico, also fitted a new bezel all for £270.[/quote:194gwzmy]
+1 Steve did a full service on a seiko of mine and a beautiful gold vintage...
Thanks Paul, that could save a few quid.
Thanks mate. Appreciate the info. It looks so much smaller than the 310 I thought it would be fine for a lady. Just need to find a local stockist now.

Hi,
My wife has decided she wants a "better" running watch. She's got a basic one that does heart rate and time. I'm not a runner but I've been looking around and the Garmin Forerunner 405CX...
5512 - sat here drooling. Great watches, thanks for the pics. :salute:
Another +1 for this.
Congrats, enjoy it. On my list for the future.
Yeah - a high end replica that is battery powered, just outrageous.
I've just got hold of #28
but may not keep it for long
On a similar note a friend swears by this, says it's opened up a whole new way to travel round london and avoid the tubes:

May be boring but have you tried ebay. We moved a few years ago and were short of a dining room table. Picked up a solid oak folding leaf dining table that seats 8 easy and 10 at a squeeze for £10....
I had a bit of a search for a GMT. Started with the Alpha, then the RLT9-GMT and now I have the Omega Seamaster GMT (the only one I've still got).

On acrylics/plastics it is magic.
Bit of elbow grease and the scratches disappear or reduce significantly.
Often have to do my sons (he's 11) so he can read the time through the crystal!

Great choice and a really useful review of the watches you looked at. Thanks for sharing. P
I'm with Mr Toshi on this.
If you're selling it for £5 I suspect there'd be loads of interest (just PM me and I'll send you a postal order  ) if you want £10k then nobody would be...
Hi Rabbit, Great challenge to have. If you like plain then an IWC is quality. Personally I think the Panerai are an aquired taste - if you've aquired it then I'm sure you'd enjoy it, but the IWC...
Welcome. A similar story got me here, searching for a copy of my grandfathes watch - its cost me a fortune, but been fun.
