  1. Poll: Re: recreational hunting - new voting options

I don't really feel able to vote for any of the given options.

I've done a lot of sea angling in the past where competition has been the main attraction and eating the catch was an added bonus....

    Re: Whiskey

Snap. It was my brothers 40th a few months back and I got him one of the only 1969 whiskys that I could find that was affordable for me (Glenrothes for ~£100). A bottle of 1969 Macallan from the same...
  3. Re: Revived scam 'postal delivery service'

Having just checked it myself, snopes and hoax slayer both say that this problem was resolved 4yrs ago and that the emails are now just chain-junk.

Also the £15 connection charg was not correct -...

Re: One for the Modern Warfare 2 saddos.....

Before games it was horror films and "video nasties", before them it was heavy metal and before that it was rock and roll.

I wonder what the Devil will come up with next to warp the minds of the...

Re: Favourite and least favourite pets

These are old pic's of our bitch, Amber, who is just over 18mths now. Would really like to get another ridgeback, but I don't think it would be fair...

    Re: Shaving Creams

I'm using the coconut version of this because of the girly, sensitive skin I have on my throat.

I've always had trouble getting a decent shave because my stubble is quite hard and my skin from jaw...

Re: The GMT watch for me ...

That is just stunning! Although I think I would need to be able to afford it 10x over before I risked taking it travelling.

I think I'll have to stick to my £20 Timex ana-digi as my GMT watch for...

    Re: OT - Sales Corner

teach you to sit on your arse since 2007 and only 26 posts.

if everyone did the same there wouldn't be a forum . Full stop.[/quote]

To be perfectly honest 'mate', your response to my suggestion...

    Re: OT - Sales Corner

Perhaps it would be a good idea to sticky one of these threads so that people would know why they are now locked out.

It was a bit off-putting to find yesterday that I couldnot access a feature of...

Snake keeper as in I have a pet python and a boa, rather than I clean out the cobra's at the local zoo!

    Re: Itsy Bitsy spider...

Don't eat it then. Or did you mean venemous?

As a snake keeper, thats the one question that everyone asks - "are they poisonous?"

They always get the same reply; "I don't know, I've...
  13. Re: How bad do you think the pensions situation is?

When I was at uni 9-10yrs ago the houses in the street where I was renting were being sold for about £10k each, and they were decent, typical Manchester red brick terraces. With 1-2miles into the...

Re: what pets have you got?

I'd heard that 'dog eggs' were caused by the amount of ash that used to be in dog food, which has now been reduced.

    Re: Thin wrist etiquette

i'm tall but have fairly skinny wrists. They're 7.5", but thats mainly due to having a big bone structure underneath with not a lot of meat on top. I can get away with large-ish dia watches due to...
  18. Re: Selling my car, what do you make of this?..

Re: Quality differences in the top brands

I doubt they do. 'People' will have heard of Omega and Breitling, but only as far as thinking "quite expensive, but cheaper than a Rolex".

Re: Can a 7 year old child be "evil"?

I meant that its not a natural situation for the cat to be there in the first place, unless you consider anything that man does as natural as we are a product of nature.

Re: Can a 7 year old child be "evil"?

Generally I would agree with that last bit, but reptiles very rarely attract any sympathy at all and are usually considered scaly, slimey and nasty by the great unwashed, if not actively demonised...
