Thanks. I don't even know how I lost it. The Omega deployment clasps are pretty solid. Who knows :(

Pretty clever!
I just thought I'd share a link to this 19mm NATO strap on Ebay:

I have an old Speedmaster with 19mm lugs and had found it hard to find a NATO strap that...
I've replied to that thread :)
Not massive, the case is 34mm wide.

Ah that makes sense! I was thinking it was some sort of display attachment or something.
Here is a couple on Ebay if you're interested:

I got an Omega LCD today actually, some details here:...
The attachment system is a bit annoying so I just put the pics on imgur:

Just thought I'd share my recent purchase. It's 70s/80s Digital Omega. Some details about it here (not my page):
http://www.loncar.dk/quartz1615.htm
It came with an Omega box, some receipt...
The back and the chrome metal you see in the above pic are all one piece of metal. I guess the hands/dial need to come off, a bit beyond my tooling. Oh well!
I'm hoping someone can help me out here....I have this old Omega De Ville quartz that I would like to replace the battery for:

It has an electronic crown push...
What's your opinion on this auction description?

I think £16k is a bit of a stretch!?
Thanks for all the nice words!
I think about all up including getting the movement serviced which required some parts, about £1250.
Watchco now sell them complete for about this amount:...
Well, almost myself, I had to get a watch maker to swap the dial/hands as I don't have a hand remover tool.
I will mention one thing: I had looked at almost 1000 pics of the 165.024 before actually holding and wearing one. It really showed me how different a watch can feel to how it looks in pictures!
Watchco in Australia recently listed a load of NOS Seamaster 300 parts so I decided to assemble a 165.024 Seamaster 300 from the available new parts and an old calibre 552.
I got these parts from...
Here is an interesting article here about the Sellita SW200 and ETA 2824s:

Result. I'd be pleased with that outcome if I was you.
Very nice watch!
As mentioned, I would try to get a partial refund to cover the cost of service. You are completely within your rights to request a full refund upon returning the item if it is...
Fun = Fake?
Same here. I'm looking for a pre-moon version without the crown guard.
Well Jel. What camera/lens did you use for those close ups of the movement?
Love that crown. I know it says "Moscow Russia" on the dial but is it actually made in Russia?
