Unacceptable
No, this is from Tony (learningtofly), Ken gave me a bit of an insight into Blancpain as frankly I didn't have a clue
??????
Thanks to Tony (learningtofly) and some advice from Ken (Wallasey Runner) I am looking forward to Wednesday like a kid on Christmas Eve :
...
Decision made, role on Wednesday !!!
By the way, if cost helps decisions I reckon I can get :
1) brand new £8700
2) brand new £8200
3) brand new £6700
My trio is almost complete, I have my late fathers old Russian watch, my new Rolex 116610LN Submariner and I'm looking to add something else. Even though I'm not looking to swop and change it must,...
I asked the seller the question of who did the build and he responded saying STS.
I think Watchco is just what they are known as, like a vacuum cleaner is a hoover !!!
RAJEN, this is what I see, no WTB section ???

This one has just popped up on ebay. The seller claims it was built by STS, could this be correct ? I'd appreciate the thoughts of someone more knowledgeable than me

So what does the buyer claim is wrong with the watch ?
It's funny, everyone says poor residual value, but you try and find a decent one for under £6k, it seems impossible right now
I think there is only a chance of a 3186 movement in a 2008 or later watch
It's the residual that's putting me off and what makes me think the seller is asking too much for it at £6k. Think I'll make him an offer and see where we end up
I've seen Blowers have 3, the cheapest one doesn't look in great condition, but at least there would be some warranty. My gut feeling is that the watch is probably £400ish overpriced seeing it is a...
No bracelet option, the lug width is 21mm so not much option to add a bracelet. I like the black calf strap off the Omega DSOTM Deep Black which is also 21mm, and I know someone who is selling a...
As in another thread on here I to am getting a little bored of swapping and changing my watches to a point that I just want 2 decent watches to keep and wear for the rest of time !!!
I am currently...
Mmmm, I can't see the WTB section
I've had the urge for a while to try one of the Seamaster 300's were they are made up of new old stock parts, I think the model numbers are 165.024 for the non date and 166.024 for the date version. ...
Sounds like a plan, I'll be in touch next week
Thanks for the suggestions, it was a steel bracelet I was after, although I bet an orange isofrane would look good
I'm really shocked at myself with this one. I shamefully admit that I've become a bit of a watch snob, ive not had a watch that has a battery since 1996 and I've only owned Rolex, Omega or Tudor the...
