That is lovely. Congratulations.
With Mothering Sunday coming up that would be a very good idea. Unfortunately it isn't her style.
B@ll@cks!

I was so taken by the dial I didn't pay attention to the dimensions given in the advert.
Less of an incoming and more of an inheritance. This was my father's watch (one of many but the last one he bought). I had to clean it up and put it on a new strap but it has scrubbed up rather well....
My first new arrival in months would be my entry for the "Unashamedly Outlandish Seventies Watch of the Year " award if I wasn't the sole judge and arbiter of the award.
This Ricoh Riquartz has...
That looks lovely and I like their lacquer dials too. I hadn't heard of them before, thanks for the link.
I haven't had an incoming for a few months now. I'm not entirely sure why I was looking for another Citizen Quartz but I tracked this one down to Texas. After traveling the length of the States...
I'm sorry to disappoint, my knowledge of Whitney Houston's back catalogue is fairly sketchy. I expect the last time I heard that song was when Simon Mayo was still on Radio 1.
Phew, thank you.
On occasion I have been tempted to do the same but managed to avoid that. I just now keep records of what everyone else is wearing. But only on Fridays.
Which makes it alright.
Doesn't it?
Is there a waiting list for that list?
This Citizen Crystron LC is not much of a recent incoming as I have had the watch for a while but it needed a new module which I finally found. I love the serifs on the digits and also the colours on...
I will do that (assuming the crystal is correct). I have been thinking about an SOTC but I am finding it difficult to think how best to do it without boring the readers (there are somewhere in the...
Thank you, as you say, there is a lot of fun to be had researching and finding vintage Japanese watches. Some important pieces can be found relatively cheaply. For example the DeLuxe Parawater was...
This one arrived in the middle of a Teams meeting.
It is a citizen Diamond Flake from 1964 and is powered by what was, for a brief moment at 2.7mm, the thinnest movement in the world. As ever...
Congratulations, always satisfying tracking down something so rare.
My taste in watches is generally pretty conservative (except for some extrovert 70's pieces) however I really like a lot of the...
I first saw this and wasn't very interested but looking on a bigger screen I saw the dial texture and thought "why not?"

There isn't much wrong with that. A lovely watch.
I've have been hankering after an original Silverware for a few years now but this wasn't how I anticipated going about getting one. Prices always seem to be just out of reach so I have always...
Congratulations, that is well worth the wait. Absolutely stunning.
Congratulations, that looks excellent. There is something about those black pvd chronos from that era. Simple, functional and they look great.
Back again. Three more Seiko Silverwaves arrived from Japan today.

This lovely Citizen Cosmotron arrived on Friday. I think it has been tarted up at some point but it is really all about the dial.

I would be too. Lovely.
