If the watch sits comfortably on one side, and the clasp sits comfortably on the other, and the whole thing doesn't gradually creep out of position, then the numbers are irrelevant.
A jeweller in...
Maybe the AD wasn't lazy, maybe the AD made sure that the clasp lay flat against the inside of the buyers wrist? I know my wrist has a long way round and a short way round from watch to clasp.
This is now a Fundraiser Auction on SC

Seiko vs Certina is not exactly a fair fight....
So I put it next to the Orange Monster. Obviously they're both torches. The normal set up is very crisp, but I think the full lume is more...
Probably won't be sticking with me for long, but I couldn't resist getting one of these over from Japan and onto TZ UK — an SCBA003, the rare full lume variant of the all-too-scarce SBCA001....
I had forgotten what 173g of watch feels like

It seems this is the first mention of the SBCA003 in this forum, ever. I once had the black dial SBCA001:

If you shop cheap enough even reality is unconvincing

Just ordered this from a Japanese ebay seller, an SBCA003

Full lume dial, 36mm bead blasted case.
A while ago I decided that the next time I saw one of these on SC, I wouldn't hesitate

My first and probably last diver,...
^^^^ if my blue Globemaster had had that shade of blue, I might never have sold it.
Since my Seiko Presage somehow saw off my Globemaster and my Tangente, it needed rescuing from its title of beater, with something else taking over that role.
I tried to buy a PRS-10, the latest...
Another of these has just appeared on SC, from a seller I could praise for the rest of the day.
I like my Tissot PRX, and I like that I don't care about every tiny whisper of a scratch I give it.
I've the smaller quartz and it sits on the wrist very comfortably.
You spend a hell of a lot...
Found one single real life shot of it. Not-so-dark brown.

Apparently, the watch I intended as my beater is actually my favourite watch, so I figured I needed to get something I can be a bit more careless with.
The dial is actually sunburst dark brown

Incoming, a Certina DS-4 quartz. 37mm, 7.5mm thick, 100m WR. I think the numerals are lumed.

Not that I can hold more than three seiko model names in my head at once, but what's that called please?
Edit — no need to answer, I found out from your Show Your Seikos post :)
I bought myself the 35mm quartz version last summer, and I've been very happy with how it feels and looks in general.
If the same design was produced by a brand higher up the Swatch ladder, with a...
Even after all these years the speed of RMSD astonishes me ;)
Good to see its got a jumper sleeve to disappear up. One morning at the start of this year I spent a good five minutes trying to find...
I seriously considered posting the most unlikely to succeed WTT ever — "WTT: my Nomos Tangente 35 for your sbgx061" :untroubled:
It would have to be the 061 for me – couldn't live without the SEIKO logo. If I had had SC success recently, I would have been looking for one. But I didn't, so that's that :stung:
