I've had an SNA411 in my collection for years. Definitely a busy dial, but surprisingly legible, as far as telling the time. It's a very nice sized watch and wears really well on just about any wrist...
It does look like a stress fracture/crack. I would think you'd be okay with light rain. Anything more than that, and I'd be worried being that it's such a great watch.
