Why both Inc and Acc in SIPP?
Defence stocks up?
I bought some more Menzies, if it does 400p (pre-Covid price) I will be very pleased. Might take a few months to get there but I think it will.
As already said, if you are happy paying more for less, are convinced of U.K. outperformance or whatever else is in your mind convincing you then carry on.
You did ask.
What are you on about? That’s a comparison as far back as the data allows.
Crack on paying more for less then.

And?
U.K. is something like 5% of world equity market. VLS is ok if you believe U.K. is set to outperform but to me that is not what passive investing is about. Your’re choosing a bias.
Because there are cheaper options that don’t involve a 25% U.K. equity allocation.
Example - HSBC FTSE All-World - 0.13% vs 0.22 %
If going 100% equities I would avoid VLS entirely.
Can’t be many of them with that as top of priority list. More about having enough coin to go out of a weekend and get sloshed in best designer clobber.
Despite the bleak picture you paint I still...
That’s crazy. Mine is 1.57%.
A dip would be nice some time soon, have yet to make use of 21/22 LISA/ISA.
BAB +24%
A few more days of this please so I can get out alive.
Edit: now +32%
Everything except GME.
Jobs reports looking good.
ISA season in UK could give the FTSE a bit of a lift too. Not that I’d bet on it!
Reddit has a lot to answer for.
Not to mention, who will serve the London lattes now?

For the record, I hope Rishi Sunak is the next PM.
Surely all Sunak would need to do is introduce midweek Pret vouchers, nobody can resist a Rishi dishi, nobody.

Only if you think we’ve seen the worst of the fall in its holdings. I’m not convinced.
Sell the car and buy the dip?
I sold out what little I had of SMT in June 20 as I thought it was a bit frothy, would be nice if it got back to the 759 I sold at and I won’t feel so bad about missing such a run up.
I rather doubt that. Euro countries are gagging for some Great-British-Tourists. With all U.K. adults vaccinated by end of June the airlines will at least have some cash coming in again.
